Faithful God

It's Evening, Jesus
Before you punished Adam
Before you spoke to Eve
After the fall
Afer the failure
You addressed evil itself.
You stood between them....between Adam and Eve and Evil itself.

You are a God who watches over His word

Grant it, Lord Jesus
That today
I will be a part of confronting evil.
Before I point fingers and lay blame upon your creation
Let me join you in your work of confronting the evil one in our midst.

As your merciful stance between them and evil came before judgement,
Allow my mercy to be swift
That justice may be just.

That your name be exalted
And healing come that glorifies you.

Amen
