It's Morning, Jesus

For the rain.
It was a little rain.
Thank you.
It was the beginning of rain.
Thank you.
It was a touch of heaven, small and precious.
Thank you.
It was a tiny portion of your great bounty
reminding us of just how great you are.
Thank you.
Thank you.

All good things come from you.
All bounty and all plenty are bound up in your keeping.

I sing this morning with the birds
I chirp this prayer with coffee cup lifted to the sky
Thank you for the rain.
