Self-Examination

It's Evening, Jesus
Did I experience the wonder of your majesty
And in the wake of your glory just pour out myself to you?
Was I empty enough to be filled with you today?
Did I try to do things in my own power?
Did I catch a vision of your glory that reigned in my appetities?
Did your awesome power cause me to lay down my own arms?
Did my awareness of the undeserving grace you've poured out on me
set free a stream of mercy in me?
Show me your glory, O' God
Show me your majestic presence.
I will declare to the world
that you are God and you are Holy.
