Evening Prayer

It's Sundown, Jesus
Did I do you proud?
Did I listen?
Did I look into the eyes of those I met?
Did I search for your face in despairing disguise?
Did I entertain angels unawares?
Was this day about me, or you, Lord?
Did I seek my own comfort or someone elses?
Did I try make that extra step, today?
I want to follow you Jesus
Examine my day with me, three-personed God.
I began the morning all charged up with you....
Did I carry it to noon?
Did I come back to you for refreshing and offer anything to this world that was not of me?
Did I do you proud, Jesus?
