If Judas Had Only Owned a Mirror

It's Morning, Jesus
The season of betrayal is upon us.
Now, we have to remember Judas again.
O' God, reveal to us all
Self interest that wars against you
Deliver us from the evil of rationalization
The stubborness of pride
May our ears be open to a community larger than us
One that lives in heaven and on earth.
Give me the humility to listen today
Give me the meekness to hear today
Give me light in my eyes today.
Give me a mirror.
