It's Evening, Jesus

It's dark.

You said: "I am the resurrection and the life."

How bright was that dawn, Lord Jesus,

When they found you

Alive

It had been dark for them

It had been fearful

But you made a way

I pray tonight for all for whom the sun of life is setting.

I pray for their faith.

I pray that each one

Soothed and sustained by faith

Will lie down to pleasant dreams

And heavenly realities.
