Gentleness (kindness)

We should live "in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love. (2 Corinthians 6:6-7).

It's Morning, Jesus

You looked upon the world with favor
From the heavens
From the cross

Today you bless us with your eyes
Your favor is upon us
Because you love us.

Grant that we, your children,
Not count as weakness
Your love toward us.

May we grow up to bless you, not curse you
May we remember what we have received from you

Grant, that in the bitter hour of our own judgement
Ours souls be comforted be a deep remembrance
And a genteleness that is deeper sitll...
You love for us.
